Dear Mom and Dad!
I'm doing really good! It was a good solid week and I didn't get pooped on and I didn't get bitten so I consider it a very solid week!! ha ha! But geez I'd love to ride the scooter right about now! Sanremo is totally like huge hills everywhere and it's rough riding bikes up and down everyday! ha ha! The bike was only 20 Euro or so but ya I took some money out to buy some clippers for my hair and stuff. But don't worry you don't need to check the money thing every day maybe just every other week or something. But thank you for making sure that I still have something in there in case of emergency!
But ya the bird and dog stories were pretty funny! ha ha And the little bite is just fine I probably made it sound worse then it was! ya It cut me and I was bleeding but not very bad and it didn't even rip my pants so I'm all good no worries! But ya frick seagulls!!! ha ha they have good aim!! ha ha!
The investigators are going OK. Adriana came to church again and is doing pretty good. One of our 29 year old dudes moved to London and we haven't seen the other in some time but we are gonna get in touch with him really soon and see if we can keep meeting with him! But don't worry about the world cup! So far every time Italy has played we have found a new investigator from it! ha ha cause eventually you find someone that's not watching the game and most the time they aren't doing anything so they let you in! ha ha but 90 percent of people won't even consider letting you in! ha ha
Dad are you upset that Italy hasn't won any games yet? What is going on with that!?!?!
Mom I'm so proud of you that you wanna read the whole book of Mormon in a summer! Good luck that is awesome! :)
But ya Anziano Cressman wasn't at zone conference so I didn't get the chance to go see Zio Pino :( hopefully one day I'll be able to run into someone! That would be so good!! But it was really good. This transfer we are focusing on recognizing the spirit and stuff. It was President Dunaway's last zone conference so it was kinda sad! But he gave some great training and it was really good! I'm gonna miss him he is a baller but I'm sure President Wolfgram is gonna be just as good!
Yes I got my packages and a few letters from some people!!! :) Thank you guys so much y'all are way too sweet! ha ha I loved all of it! The money situation is good. They give us a card that has money on it and each month they put money on our card and if we need cash we just go to an ATM machine and take some out, it's pretty easy! And if I need to use personal money I just use my credit or debit card it's easy don't worry!
That is so cool about the Kings! Brother King is gonna be amazing!!! Jordan is so lucky!!! ha ha I'll email them sometime ha ha Oh my heck Ashly would go and freakin kill herself!!! ugh what a spaz!!! I'll see if I have time to shoot her an email but tell her good luck from me!! I haven't emailed Pres Warner or bishop yet.... oops!!! I don't have a lot of time to email everyone!!! ha ha and my finger is fine but it still doesn't move all the way like it should ha ha but oh well what do you do! It kinda is sore sometimes but nothing to bad so don't worry!

ANIMAL ATTACK
Dear Mom and Dad!!!
I'm doing pretty dang good! A lot of weird stuff happened this week but I'll get to that later!!! But first of all ya the world cup makes it really hard here cause now pretty much every night they have an excuse for not letting us in because they are watching the world cup!! ha ha Even one of the guys we had an appointment with totally gave us a bidone! (like they just totally didn't show up!) ha ha but then we called him and he said sorry cause he was watching the game and we set up another one with him so I guess its OK! ha ha But ya it kinda makes work rougher during the nights! ha But ya Brian told me all the fun cool stuff he is doing and I'm jealous! I'm missing him growing up! He's gonna be such a baller! ha ha But no way!!!?? Ryan got his mission call!? That's nuts!!! Tell him congrats for me! And ya of course I miss all my friends but I get letters from them every week so its cool! I'm so proud of all of us!!! And I emailed Anthony and he didn't email me back!! What a bum! ha ha Guess what my nickname is that the members gave me.... Anziano Farfallone hahahahaha!!!! ballin huh!!! It's cause I always dress and look really good and they can tell that I use to flirt! hahahah! I just busted up when I heard that and knew you guys would love that!(don't worry, I don't anymore!!!) ha ha but yes transfers were this week and..... I'm..... staying in San Remo with Anziano mosley. But we are getting a new zone leader and its the Anziano that trained Anziano Mosley so he is really excited for that so it will be sweet!
But about some of our investigators.... Giovanni is like off the map at the moment.... we need to get in touch with him and see if he is still interested. The 29 year old guys didn't come to church. But we are still working really hard with them! They are just really worldly (like drinking and smoking and sleeping around) and one of them might be moving so we are just gonna have to see how it all works out! Yes Adriana is doing pretty good. She is dated to get baptized on July 17th so if all goes well it will work out! There is this guy named Gian Luca who is a freakin baller and is progressing so dang fast and things are looking really really good for him too! Also this man named Felice who is the husband of one of our members who is now meeting with us! So ya things are going pretty good. But I haven't been one with nature this week.... let me explain.... first we got bikes last Thursday so now we are doing that and its good exercise! Even more just what I needed! ha ha But we went up into this place and we were walking around and a freakin seagull pooped on me!!!! Ya what the HECK!!!! ha ha ha ha ha Thankfully it just got on my backpack and not on my tie or anything. When it did I kinda slipped and a bad word came out and Anz Mosley just laughed at me!! Ugh it was an interesting experience! ha ha Then the next day we were walking back to our apartment and a freakin dog bit me!!! And gave me like a hole in the back of my thigh! Ya it was not my week for animals! ha ha ha But oh don't worry I repented for my little bad word ha ha But ya there are some funny stories for you guys to laugh at! And oh dad HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!..... on Sunday.... ha ha ha I love you so much and you are such a great example for me!!! Yes mom don't worry I love you too and your just as ballin! ha ha ha But I'm sorry I don't think I can send any Italian soccer shirts from here.... San Remo is like a tourist place and everything is just so expensive!!! If you guys can be patient a bit wait till I get to my next city and then I can buy one and send you all one!!! ha ha But it's just so expensive here its a joke!
But ya yoga is fun and we do it in the church ha ha and there are also weights in there so later today we are going to go lift! ha ha ya I'm totally getting in good shape! It's awesome! Don't worry you all know that I'm fine! Yes miss you guys a ton but I'm so thankful and happy to be here!!! Oh I bought my first legit Italian tie for 6 euro and its ballin! just sayin!!! ha ha
and about Zio Pino I totally wanna see him but I don't know if it is possible..... he lives on the other side of town from where the church is.... but I totally want to! If I can I totally will! I'll ask Pres Dunaway for sure and see if it's possible. I'm praying that sometime on my mission I can just serve in Torino and that would just make things so much easier! ha ha But ya I'd love so see him and to talk! I'll see what I can do....

Your growing up so fast I just wish I could be there to see it! Your a baller. And you went to Seven Peaks!?!?!? And actually went down the BIG slides!?!?!? atta boy!!! I told ya they are fun!!! Dude you can do it! They aren't that bad at all I promise! They are so fun! but I'm so proud of you bro!!!

Dear Mom and Dad!!!!
I just wanna start off by saying I love you guys so freakin much!!!! Just lettin ya know! You both talked about Brian and stuff and that makes me so jealous! I wish I could be there to see him grow up! That kid is such a baller he is gonna be 100 times better then me!!! ha ha Yes mom I got the pics this time and last time! Thank you so so much! I loved them. Brian does look a lot bigger already! Dad you did just great with me don't worry. It's not your fault I was such a punk!! You both were such great examples for me and I'm so thankful for all you guys have done for me! The mission won't really change me (my personality) I don't think... but I think it is opening my eyes so now I can see what really is important. I'm sure I'll still be kinda goofy and punk like when I get back but I'll definitely have my priorities set straight for once ha ha!
Anyways ya things here have been OK! Finding work was rough this last week. No new investigators.... but it's OK we are staying positive and are hoping to have a great week this week! The two 29 year old guys are doing alright. we didn't meet with them last week because they were working in France but we met with them last night and it went well. They said they should be able to make it to sacrament meeting this Sunday so that is good. Hopefully they keep reading and praying and progressing... Adriana is doing good too. We had to move back her baptismal date because of some stuff but she is doing good and things are looking better for her. Giovanni is like way busy with school and will be till the end of the week so we really haven't talked with him much. We had one lesson with him but it didn't go as well as planned... hopefully after this week we will be able to work something out and meet with him sometime. But ya things are going alright! I'm having a good time but the work went a bit rough last week.
Like we had great lessons with the investigators that we have but we didn't get any new ones!
I have yoga later today and I'm excited for that! ha ha! We do yoga 2 to 3 times a week! It helps me lose weight! ha ha! I've lost all the weight I gained in the MTC so that is good! So don't worry I'm eating good and staying in shape! ha ha! Thanks for letting me know about sports that is really nice to know!!! Sports, music and movies are things that are hard to go without! ha ha!
But our next zone conference is around the 22nd or something like that. So in a few weeks or so. But ya everything is going great and I'm having a blast! I miss you guys tons and I miss my boys tons too!!! But even though I miss a lot of things I'm so so happy to be here and wouldn't trade it for the world! FUNNY STORIES
Grandpa and Lorraine!!
How have you guys been!? Thanks for your email! It sounds like you guys had a great trip and I'm so so glad. It sounds like you had fun grandpa! That's awesome! So the work here is going great. The weather here is just beautiful too. I love it. Yes we do get rejected a lot but its so awesome when someone lets you into their house and you get to share our message of the restored gospel with them. My companion is really cool too. He is Elder Mosley and he is from California. We get along great now! The food here is really really yummy too! You know I love that! I miss you guys so much and I'm so thankful for the great example you both have been for me! I love you both so much! I hope all is going well! Keep in touch!

It sounds like everything back at home is going great! I'm very happy to hear that! That is so funny that brain actually got the Wii. Mom I can totally see you playing it and it just brings the biggest smile to my face! hahaha ;) Tell Brian I will write him next week! I'm running out of time! I wrote grandpa today so make sure he gets it! That's so cool to hear about Beau and Colby! I'm proud of both of them! Good for them! I can totally see Beau going there! He is gonna have a blast! That's so nice of you to take that to Kourtney! She is a sweet heart and thanks for keeping in touch with her and all!It means a lot! I'm so jealous that you guys are able to still watch movies! So for a funny story... so we were walking around the city and on our way home for lunch one day and while we were walking I straight up stepped in wet cement!!!! haha it sucked! I had to walk back to the apartment and I looked like a freakin' fool! haha But it was funny and we just laughed about it after! Don't worry my stuff is fine I got to wash it all off. Hopefully my footprint will still be there and it will get to be part of San Remo Forever!! hahaha :) And about the everything in Italian thing we just can't do that. President Dunaway wants us to study in English so that's what we do! Maybe when he leaves I will though! haha But ya this week has been a solid week. Anziano Mosley and I get along great so it's fun. Guess what! One day as we were doing casa I quoted the wholeLion King movie word for word! Ya impressive I know! haha

But don't worry everything here is going good! My comp and I are fine we get along good and it just seems to get better each day! Ya it's not perfect but it is good!
So for a little story... last night i invited these two 29 year old guys to get baptized and they said yes! The spirit was so strong so I just did it! So hopefully if all goes well and they accept the rest of the lessons it will all work out! It totally makes all the long and hard days totally worth it! I'm so excited and happy to be here! It seems like I learn to enjoy it more and more each day!
The Italian is OK! I'm still learning it but I think I'm improving a bit! Anziano Mosley is a really good missionary and teaches really well so I think I'm learning a lot from him!
Dad I know your job might be hard sometimes but it's better than nothing! Plus that is sweet that you guys have that new car! I want one that gets gas mileage like that!
I cant wait to get your guys packages either! You guys are so so nice and loving! Too nice! ha ha and I think I'll get it June 22nd or something like that. I think that's when our next zone conference is. I'm excited for it so thanks!!! :)

That's so sad to hear about uncle David and all them.... that's just hard. I will definitely keep all of them in my prayers for the next little bit.
But we are teaching Giovanni the first lesson later tonight! So hopefully everything goes well! He seems interested so I'm optimistic for it! I'm eating good don't worry!! ha ha a lot of focaccia :) There are no bad things! ha ha except for the bubbly water! That stuff is just something that I can't seem to get used to!
But ya it is exciting that all my buddy's are out serving the Lord! I know we will all be blessed for it and He is looking out for all of us! but ya please let me know where Beau is going!

PRAYER ARE ANSWERED!
Dear Mom and Dad!!!
I don't have a bunch of time right now so I gotta write you both together!! ha I'm glad that dads job is going well and everything is going well at home! I got an email from beau and Kourtney which was nice! Tell them both to check there emails today but not to answer back till next Tuesday! ha ha
So that is awesome that Scott and Matt are going into the mission soon! They will love it. That's sad to hear about McKay and the Wittingham kid. I hope that they are both OK! I don't look down on either of them! Missions aren't easy!!! hahahaha
But mom don't worry I eat just fine!!! I promise! I think I'm gonna grab some focaccia for lunch today!!! Jealous!?!? ;) hahahaha
But normally on a normal day we leave the apartment around 10ish to 1030. Then we do work till around 1 and that's when we go have lunch. Then we start work up again around 3ish sometimes a little earlier just depends! haha Then just normally get some little snack then eat when we get back at home around 9 or 930. Last week kinda sucked because Friday we had to stay in because my companion was sick and then Saturday I caught it and had to stay in on Saturday too!!! It was not fun at all!!! hahaha But we both feel way better now so don't worry!!!
We had our first zone conference on Monday in Torino and it was nice! It was really good!
But about the memory card ya just put it in the package your gonna send!!! And yes I have the new address! haha it is... Via della Republica 58/21 18038, San Remo (IM) Italia. if you wanna just send letters to there you can do that to. but if you ever wanna send packages send them to the mission home!!!
So ya besides being sick the last week has been good! and yes I do like doing casa! We get like a billion doors slammed in our face or people just wont answer, but when they do and they let you in and you get the chance to share the gospel you just feel so good! haha
So yesterday was interesting! It was the first day in a few days that we went out to do finding work cause before we were sick and in Torino.... so yesterday moring we left with a great attitude ready to work hard and find people that were ready to accept the gospel. Except the whole moring we got stuck doing my permesso di soggiorno stuff, then after lunch we had to go clear out to the outskirts of town to meet with this lady, who we dropped cause she is just kinda crazy ha, so by that time it was like 4 and we hadn't done any real finding work. So then we started to do casa..... and we got nothing!!!!! It sucked and was discouraging because we prayed so much and so hard to find someone today but we didn't.... and it was hot and Anz Mosley was just being annoying so it was just kinda sucky!!!! But at 730 we had our English class that we teach every Tuesday night. I was happy to go to it just to get a break and get inside somewhere. So we did it then after this 16 year old boy named Giovanni comes up to us and says... there is something different about your guys church, can you teach me all about it?.... It was just like an answer to our prayers!!! hahaha it was great! He is under 18 so he had to get his parents permission so we called him later that night and they said that he can meet with us so it turned out great!! It was so cool to see how the Lord really does place people in your path so you can get the chance to share the gospel with them! I think we are gonna start meeting with him later this week! It totally strengthened my testimony and made me so happy to be out here! so ya hopefully everything goes well with him!!!! hahaha So ya there is a little story!
But ya everything is going just fine for now don't worry! My shoes are just fine now! I prayed that they would work out and the next time I wore them they felt fine! I think i just needed to break them in a bit!! hahaha so ya everything is good here the weather and food and all is great! We recieved a letter last Thurday the 13th from President Dunaway, Robert's mission President. He sent us the following picture of Robert with his companion, Anziano Mosley.
Robert had told us previously that President Dunaway was an amazing man, and from his picture you can tell he is.

Dear Family!!!
Yes I'm doing good don't worry! I was just a bit tired because the day before I had walked all over the place and my legs and feet were hurting. But guess what!?!?! Now they are fine!! ha ha I promise they feel great and I'm doing good too so don't worry!
It was so nice to be able to talk to everyone twice in a week too! It made me so so happy! ha ha and ya the trip was long but it was good. The Duomo the first day was ballin. It is so dang big and so pretty! But kinda creepy at the same time! ha ha But I was with Anz Barney and one of the AP's and we went around talking to people and what not ha I was way nervous but it turned out ok because he was there to help us when we didn't know what was going on ha ha But ya there were a ton of Asians it was so nuts!!! I was basically laughing the whole time!! hahaha jk.
But my first week here has been good! It really is beautiful here and the members are really nice and sweet! The food and gelato are just balling too! Focaccia is just too good too! Americans are totally missing out! haha
Our mission standard is to have 20 lessons a week so that is what we are shooting for! This week we didn't quite get it because there was just so much going on stuff! ha Approaching people isn't that bad anymore. The first day or so I just walked around because I was just scared ha ha but now I can do it just fine! I just can't say to much afterward is my problem ha ha actually I'm OK I just don't respond back as fast as I should because it takes a while because I have to think of what to say and all!! Once I get the language down I will be set!
Yes don't worry we are getting along just fine! It's not as good as Dunshee and I but it is going really good!!! I just feel bad because he is sick today! Poor guy. He woke up with a fever and all but he is doing a lot better now!
As for the food we each buy our own food and all ha and he has only had to cook once ha other then that we just get a little foccacia or just don't really eat. I don't get that hungry out here it's kinda weird! And for right now I don't need to buy anything that costs a lot of money so I am just fine with that! Anything that you wanna send that is not an email just send it to the mission home for now. The mailing system here in San Remo is really bad and things get stolen or lost so whatever you wanna send just send it to there. You should already have that address!
I'm glad dad is enjoying work! That makes me really happy! And that is awesome Beau is coming over for dinner in a few nights! Tell him hi for me. And ya it was really cool to see Scott and all his family! I love them they are so nice! Thanks for the complements but I think they are a little overrated hahahaha!
So something interesting that happened was that I already had a scambi (splits) with the district leader ha. We had district meeting here and then I went back to Sevona with Anziano West. I got to know him better and he is really nice too. All of the missionaries here are really nice good guys. It's been cool though, we've taught a lot of people and it's just really cool to see what a bunch of people think about our church and stuff. This one one girl Adriana is progressing really well and we are all really excited for her!
Um at the moment we don't know the exact address to our apartment ha ha but if you wanna send anything you can just send it to the mission house in Opera and I will get it..... sometime... hahaha
But nope Kourtney didn't email me.... :( but it's OK she's busy and what not with school ending so it's OK. I have her address but I'm not gonna email her this week cause she is probably busy. Maybe she will email me next week ha

We received a call from the mission home today letting us know that Robert arrived just fine. He spent the day with President Dunaway and the office staff.
Sister Dunaway called to let us know that Robert is a wonderful young man who smiles a lot and seems happy and that he is very polite and will be a great missionary.
She also told us that he will be serving with an Anziano Mosley (sp) in the city of San Remo.

Sanremo[1](Sanrœmu in Ligurian) is a city with about 57,000 inhabitants on the Mediterranean coast of western Liguria in north-western Italy. It was founded in Roman times and is now best known as a tourist destination on the Italian Riviera and the host of cultural events such as the Sanremo Music Festival and the Milan-Sanremo cycling classic arrival.
Sanremo enjoys special weather conditions throughout the year due to its vicinity to the Mediterranean Sea and the presence of Maritime Alps right behind the town, Monte Bignone, the highest peak, being some 1,300 m above the sea level. Robert called home today! He is doing great. He left the MTC this morning for Italy..

Dear Family!
I hope you all got my email! I tried to send one to Brian, hopefully it worked! So first of all. Dad, I am so happy you got a job! It is comforting to know the Lord helps us when we really need it! I'm so so happy!!!
Now the flight plan stuff! So we leave the MTC at 5 AM on Tuesday morning and we head to Chicago at 8 AM. We get there at 11 AM Utah time. And our flight to Frankfurt Germany doesn't leave until 2:30 PM Utah time, so I'll probably call inbween 11:30 and 2 PM Utah time. Probably and mostly around noon sometime, so be ready! :)
I am super excited to hear you guys! I love and miss you guys tons! Anyways, we should get to Italy about 10 AM Italy time on Wednesday morning April 5th! It's gonna be long but great! I'm so excited!
I told you that I had to get a $70 shot. I just used the debit card, so probably put a couple buck on that then the extra $100 would be nice, just in case something happens at the airports. I get to sit by Elder's Barney and Bolnick on the airplane! So it's gonna be ballin! I think I'm just going to send my stuff home through the MTC Post office.
We get to write you guys on Monday next week so that is when I'll send the other memory stick home! But here are some pics anyways!
Please send anything that you think I might need or that I'm forgetting!
I do think I'm ready and my Italian is decent and my testimony has grown tons! God loves us all so much! We are truly lucky to have this gospel in our lives!

April 27, 2010 One Week Left in the MTC
Dear Dad,
I think you answer back crepi!?!?! or something like that! ha ha But yes the MTC experience is going great!!!! And yup I only got a week left! I got my flight plans :) ha ha ha ha ha but you'll just have to wait till moms email to hear about them! And I'm so happy about you finding a job!!!!!! I told you that the Lord would make sure everything works out! I'm so so happy for all you guys! I miss you all a ton! Dang, it sounds like Brian is gonna have a ballin summer!! Lucky kid! Thanks for letting me know about sports in the outside world! GO JAZZ!!!!! ha ha ha Cheer hard for me!!! I love you so much and thanks for your great example!!! You are the best! But now i gotta write the rest of the fam!!! You know how mom is!! ;) hahaha

Things are going great and yes I feel like I'm ready to go to Italy!!!! And yes I got my travel plans!!!!! We fly to Chicago then to Germany then to Milan!!!!! How ballin is that! Ouch!!! Yes a little shampoo and of course razors couldn't hurt! Deodorant would be nice ha ha ha ha just to stock up! I'll probably just send stuff home through the MTC..... and I haven't gotten Kourtney's letter yet so ya just in case send me her number where i can get a hold of her! 50 DAYS/6 WEEKS
Dear Homer ;) ha ha ha
I'm doing great!!! Stuff with my comp and I are going just great! Thanks for letting me know about the Jazz and keeping me updated on that stuff! I am working hard and having a great time! I should be getting my flight plans this week!! How freakin ballin is that!! :) But hey sorry to hear about the job stuff.... I know everything will be OK and will work out. I know it might be hard but just keep on doing the things you are supposed to. The Lord will find a way for everything to work out!! I just know it! You are always in my prayers! You are such a good example to me and I'm so thankful for all that you have done for me and all you do for mom and Brian! You are amazing :) I love you so so much!! And oh I'm glad you go to all three hours of church I wish I was more like you! I love you! I hope you find comfort in praying and reading the scriptures!!! I know I have, and you can too!! You are always in my prayers! I love you :)

I'm doing really really good! Sorry you got the impression that I wasn't doing good cause W was! It was just a bit rough teaching last week. But this week was totally awesome!!!!! TRC yesterday was amazing. Probably the best one we have had so far! I am helping Elder Dunshee as much as I can. He did so so good! The good thing with us is that we teach by the spirit and we just always teach together! We are getting along great don't worry!!! :)
Haven't gotten the package but I probably will today! Thanks so much for all you do and all!!! I love it so much! I'm excited to get it! Thanks for keeping me updated with the Jazz and all! It's still kinda nice to know whats going on in the real world! ha ha! I'm really glad Brain is doing good and having fun! He is a baller!

Dear Family,
I was so glad to hear everything is going well. Everything is going way good here too! I'm just super stoked for Italy! Anyways, TRC yesterday was legit! The spirit there was so incredibly strong it was amazing!!! We both bore powerful testimony and asked her to get baptized and just taught her the importance of it and she said yes! It was easily the best one we have done so far!
We should get out flight plans this week so next week I will let you know what's up! About the temple thing...I don't think that you guys need to come. I'll just call you guys while I'm at the airport, then call you again that Sunday! (Mother's Day). I just don't want to risk it being hard to say good bye again! I do want you guys to know I love you all so so much! I think I'm going to try to write Grandpa and Lorraine again today. It's weird that they hadn't gotten my first one! I hope they are doing well! Mom and dad, you guys should go to the temple! Go as often as you guys can! Brian once you turn 12 go do baptisms for the dead all the time! The temple is an amazing place and prayers are definitely answered there! Don't get discouraged about the job stuff. Everything will work out I promise. I know it's hard but remember tithing is important! I know you guys can do it! All you need is faith!
So, ya! I think I'm going to need to send some stuff home like my extra suit and my white shoes! ha Send back the other camera card because I want to send you guys one more before I leave!

HE SPEAKS ITALIAN
One of Robert's friends parent's are going to Chile on a mission, actually as mission president and wife. They are going to the Chile Santiago South or North mission...can't remember which....anyway....
M goes to the MTC several times a week to study Spanish. Today as she was walking the halls..guess who she saw???? That's right! OUR missionary..Elder Bona!!! She said that he wanted to give her a hug so bad (her son and Robert are really good friends-he is going to another mission in Chile in June and they leave in July)....but of course there are rules that missionaries must abide by..so instead of a hug he handed her is Book of Mormon and their hands hugged for a few moments.....
M continued to ask how he was doing and how the MTC was treating him. He said that he really loved it there. He told her that he is always having some type of spiritual experience and that it is wonderful! He also told her that he really loves his companion that they get along so well. He said that in his district there have been other comapionships that have hit the rocks a few time, but that he and Elder Dunshee really are great friends and have a wonderful time together and they have never had any problems!
M then proceeded to ask Robert about his Italian...he said that it was coming along okay. She asked for him to bear her his testimony in Italian. He did it!!! She said he sounded amazing and she was so happy for him! Then Elder Dunshee proceeded to bear his testimony as well. She said that you could tell that he was having a bit more difficulty with the language and Robert had to help him along, but he did it as well. We were so happy to hear that Robert could actually speak in Italian. We were also glad to know the he is helping his companion out as well with the language.
M said that Robert looked like a missionary, spoke liked a missionary and you could see that he was becoming a great missionary!
He passed hugs our way and to tell us that he missed us all "like heck"!
(We miss him "like heck" too!)
As they were talking his friend Coulton (who is going to Athens, Greece) came up to them, so they all were able to visit for a few minutes, then Morgan with his escort walked by and they all said hi! Morgan is going to Raleigh-Durham North Carolina and was just entering the MTC today when they all saw him. I'm sure he was glad to see a familiar face!!!
I have to admit that my eyes teared up for just a minute.
We are so proud of Robert. I can't wait to here him speak in Italian...Finally after 16 years he is speaking Italian again!!!!
Sure do love that boy!!! and miss him "like heck" too!!!

So basically I wanted you guys to know that I love you all! Like a ton! I already told you guys a lot that yes, the MTC is going great, but I can't wait 'til I get to Italy! It's gonna be so so legit! Ha Ha :)
Yes, I saw Ian and he's doing great! I see all my boys all the time. It's so sweet to see all of us in here all together! I can't wait to see Morgan tomorrow! :)
Favor! Can you find out Anthony's address and give it to me? I've had a really strong feeling that I need to write him. If you could do that it would be great! Also send more of the fruity chap stick, please? :)
Tell everyone in the ward thank you from me! I got a package from then with little notes from everyone and I got all teary eyed and I love them and miss them! Let them know that everything is going great!

The MTC is going pretty good like usual! TRC wasn't that hot, but it was still pretty good. It's just hard to teach when your companion doesn't know Italian. But I love him and he's cool so it's like impossible to get mad at him. And I know that he is trying and he's doing a lot getter lately so it's all good!!!

Tuesday April 6th. 3:15 PM
Dear Bona family, :)
I hope you guys got my email! I got your package and I loved it! :) Thank you so much it made my day! So I just got back from the temple and it was amazing!! Two Italian Elders are leaving next Tuesday so this was their last session and it was so good! I felt the spirit a ton. It was so great! You (mom and dad) should go to the temple every time you get the chance!
I took that one missionary picture that you wanted me to!
I'll be sending home the memory card next Tuesday so you'll get more then!
How was lunch with Jessie and Kourtney?! Did she get my letters? I sure hope so! Let me know!...
But I'm glad you guys watched conference! It was just amazing! The talks I loved: ALL OF THEM!!! ha ha
I did enjoy Elder Holland's talk on love and lust. It was so deep and good! I love when Elder Bednar talked about watching out for warnings and warning signs. I think if we all do that it will be a lot easier for us to stay out of trouble and what not! I hope Brian listened to David L. Beck's talk because he will 12 soon and he should totally do the Duty to God program! (Actually I know he didn't because it was in the Priesthood session~ so make Brian watch it!) :):)
I loved President Uchtdorf's talk on patience! I loved Eyring's talk on diligence! And President Monson's talk during priesthood was unbelievable as well! Mom you need to watch it when you can because it was the best one I've seen so far!! I loved it! I also loved the talk about Mothers! Thanks for being so good to me mom! AKA JUDI!!! I love you!! :)
Pretty much this was easily the best conference I've ever heard! And the only one that I've heard the whole thing! How sad! :( It's okay because I'll watch all of them from now on!
Things here have been normal! It's just really repetitive but it's not terrible. It could be worse. Last week just was a bummer because I was sick, but now that I feel good we are all systems go and I'm ready! I think I told you about TRC in my email but if not I'll tell you again! It was amazing! It was the first time we've had to teach a whole lesson in Italian and we were kinda nervous but we were blessed by the Lord so it went great! :) Hopefully we can do even better next week!!!
My companion and I have gotten way close. We've had a few heart to hearts and it's been great! We get along so so good! I truly do love him and hope the best for him!
How are you guys doing? It sounds like everything is going well and it makes me so happy to hear that! Sorry I don't write in Italian. I can't read or write in Italian! My brain is handicapped sometimes!

I hope you guys got my email! I got your package and I loved it! :) Thank you so much it made my day! So I just got back from the temple and it was amazing!! Two Italian Elders are leaving next Tuesday so this was their last session and it was so good! I felt the spirit a ton. It was so great! You (mom and dad) should go to the temple every time you get the chance!

I did enjoy Elder Holland's talk on love and lust. It was so deep and good! I love when Elder Bednar talked about watching out for warnings and warning signs. I think if we all do that it will be a lot easier for us to stay out of trouble and what not! I hope Brian listened to David L. Beck's talk because he will 12 soon and he should totally do the Duty to God program! (Actually I know he didn't because it was in the Priesthood session~ so make Brian watch it!) :):)
I loved President Uchtdorf's talk on patience! I loved Eyring's talk on diligence! And President Monson's talk during priesthood was unbelievable as well! Mom you need to watch it when you can because it was the best one I've seen so far!! I loved it! I also loved the talk about Mothers! Thanks for being so good to me mom! AKA JUDI!!! I love you!! :)
Pretty much this was easily the best conference I've ever heard! And the only one that I've heard the whole thing! How sad! :( It's okay because I'll watch all of them from now on!
Things here have been normal! It's just really repetitive but it's not terrible. It could be worse. Last week just was a bummer because I was sick, but now that I feel good we are all systems go and I'm ready! I think I told you about TRC in my email but if not I'll tell you again! It was amazing! It was the first time we've had to teach a whole lesson in Italian and we were kinda nervous but we were blessed by the Lord so it went great! :) Hopefully we can do even better next week!!!
My companion and I have gotten way close. We've had a few heart to hearts and it's been great! We get along so so good! I truly do love him and hope the best for him!
How are you guys doing? It sounds like everything is going well and it makes me so happy to hear that! Sorry I don't write in Italian. I can't read or write in Italian! My brain is handicapped sometimes!

GENERAL CONFERENCE
Dear Mom!!! And this is for dad too even though he didn't send me an email!!! hahaha :P
Yes this weekend was absolutely amazing!! I'm so proud that you guys watched all of the sessions!! Guess what?! I did too! and I didn't even fall asleep! ha ha! All of them were my favorites! I will give you more details about which ones I liked the most because I don't have my notes with me right at the moment! I think that's great that you guys watched the priesthood session talks! They were all so amazing! I had 10 questions that I had going into conference and all of them were answered! The Lord really does answer our prayers! TRC yesterday was awesome! It was the first time we had to teach totally in Italian, and it went amazing! We committed him to be baptized and he said yes and I almost jumped through the roof!!!!! :) It was so nice just to see that it is possible and I just felt so good when someone would say that they accept the gospel and accept Jesus Christ as their savior. The gift of tongues truly does work. When the Lord wants you to talk He will help you!!! The Italian is coming along slowly but its OK. It's still a bit frustrating but I just don't let it get to me!! I just gotta be patient and that's what I'll do! :) ah!!!! I did write Kourtney but it got sent back to me so I sent it back so I hope she got it yesterday!!! Please ask her for me and if she hasn't gotten it yet please let me know so I can write her again!!!! I think that's great that you talk to her every once in a while and that you guys can just talk like you did on Saturday!!! Overall everything here is OK. I got pretty sick right before conference but I'm feeling so so much better now!!! The food here kinda sucks and makes me use the restroom a lot but it's OK hahaha ;) Sorry to hear about dad... I'll keep him in my prays.... I love you both so so much and miss you guys a ton!!! But this is where I want to be and I know everything will be OK!!! Dear Family!
I hope you guys got my email this morning! I told you a lot there so this one won't be too long or anything so, let me know you got it!
So first of all I LOVE YOU GUYS so much! I miss all of you! Tomorrow I will have been here 4 weeks already! It's gone by so fast and at the same time it feels like I haven't seen you guys in forever!
Stuff here is just the usual! Food is harsh but the spirit is great! I love the TRC and practicing teaching people! It's cool! I've gotten a lot better at it for sure! The MTC isn't bad at all! I like it here! It'd be perfect if you could be with your family! Ha ha!
I just can't wait to get out of here and be in Italy! I'm so excited for that! I'm glad to hear all is going well at home! Yes, I wrote Grandpa back a while ago and I'm going to write the Barker's right after this! I wrote Eric last week.
Thanks for keeping me updated with sports! Let me know about the NCAA stuff and let me know who wins it all!
I love every little thing that I get from you guys! It's like Christmas when I get something!

I love how you guys are reading the scriptures! I'm in Alma and they are talking about the Anti-Nephi-Lehi's! They (the scriptures) are such good examples! I love them so much! For Mom and Dad
Dear mom and dad!!!!
I've been doing pretty good! This last week was kinda rough not gonna lie but it's ok because this week has started off really good so hopefully it will continue!! Last week was just hard because we got pounded on with the language!! But it's ok i think i'm getting better at it!
dad guess what.... i go to trc on monday's and yesterday i balled it up!! my companion can't speak italian very well at all, so during the italian section we had to talk with them for 15 min and i pretty much did the whole thing! it was pretty cool and stuff! The language stuff is coming along slower then i wanted but at least it's coming! haha
mom thanks for getting in touch with kourtney and i think it's a great idea that you are going out with her and jessie. they probably need a talk from judi! it always helps! i loved them! haha
But ya i can pray and bear my testimony in italian. we learned that the first weekend we were here haha now is just like conjugating in the future and past and just a bunch of wierd stuff! ha it's hard but it's ok.
Yes i'm so so excited for conference! i think it's going to be amazing and hopeully a lot of prays will be answered in it! i know they will be! No i didn't get the donuts yesterday but i talked to coulton and he did! haha he says hi and thanks!!
Ya i see jordan all the time. on sunday we sat by each other during the movie and we just talked and chilled the whole time. it was nice to talk to someone ya know!! we are going to try to get a pic of all of us by the temple! when i do i'll send you the memory card so you can put them on facebook or whatever! haha

Tuesday March 23rd
Dear Family, !!! :)
I hope you guys got my emails today! Dad, I'm sorry I didn't get to email you back! I really did enjoy that scripture though! Thanks! I did read all of it though! The Italian is coming along slowly but at least it's coming along!
My typical schedule is like different everyday! Some days I have class in the mornings and other days I have it at night! It's all messed up but we are all getting use to it now!
The food here is interesting...some days it's really good and other days it's freakin terrible! But one thing that stays the same each time is that it is all so fattening and really will make you fat!!! I'm doing my best to not get fat but I don't know if I'll be able to hold off for 6 more weeks!!!
The towels are great though! I love it! Shaving pretty much sucks like always! I haven't used the electric one I've only used the real razor! I hate doing it, but it's okay! I did get my hair cut! It turned out OK! I won't complain because it was free!
If you see anyone that I love, please give them my love :)
But, my companion isn't "peter priesthood" he's actually funny and stuff! I love him.
Keep me updated on how things are going and about dad's work stuff!

Can i just say i love you so so much!!! I love your packages they make me so dang happy you have no idea!!! keep em comin!! haha But ya everything is going well over here! I did get a hair cut and it doesn't look terrible but it's not great either! ha I'll probably send some more pics home in a week or so!
Elder Dunshee and I are getting along pretty good!! He is a nice and funny kid. It's just hard to stay on task because we both love to joke around so much! Dear Mom and Dad,
First of all I hope you got my email. I sent it earlier this morning. If you didn't then let me know your email just to make sure you guys get it! I hope you did!
I feel the great hear and i love it! It seems like almost every day here we have an amazing spiritual experience.
I am not in the same room as Elder Bolnick. Elder Lesa is a guy in my room. He is half Samoan and we just seem to get along good. He's a bigger guy with glasses. There are 13 of us in our district, 8 Elders and 5 Sisters. I love my teachers. There names are Brother Tulini (sp?) and Brother Clarke. They really are amazing and they invite the spirit so well.
Doing laundry isn't bad at all. Today was the second time we've done it and I'm already a pro! Tuesdays we go do a session at the temple at ( blank), and on Sunday we to to the temple for a walk around (blank). I think you guys should come to my last walk around the temple in two months :) ha ha!
How was Jordan's farewell? I've heard about Scott and that is just awesome!!!

Dear Mom and Dad,
Geez, it feels like forever since I've seen you guys! I miss you guys a lot and love you so much! Today (Tuesday) is my p-day so this is when I'll be writing you guys! I think I'm to go fix my email later today, so I'll let you know when that happens!
Dad, I actually read and understood most of your last letter! I won't b able to answer back in Italian for a while though! You can keep writing me like that! It helps me to practice. I loved the Homer references it made me laugh! :) Take care of mom and Brian for me.
Mom- thank you so much for all your packages and food! They are exactly what I need!!! All my companions love them too! You're already the coolest mom in the whole MTC! Judi!!! :) ha ha!!
Both of you - so far after the first week I don't want to come home yet so I think that's a good start! ha ha! But seriously. It's going ok! My companion is an interesting guy! His name is Elder Dunshee and he is from Bountiful Utah. He's funny and makes me laugh. We get along okay and I love him. He has a good heart and that's what matters. Yes, I met Jake Barney. He is a really nice guy, but he is not in my district so I only see him at lunch and gym and a few other things. And the other guy is Elder Bolnick. He is probably my favorite one here. He is in my district and we seem to get along really well. Most of the other guys are pretty cool too! Anziano Lesa is one of my favorites too! The Italian is coming along kinda slow, but it's ok. It's just kind of frustrating at the beginning. I love classroom and doctrine stuff though! There is such a great spirit here it's awesome! My testimony has grown so much just in this first week. This is exactly where I'm suppose to be at this time of my life! :) So far, so good!
How'ss is it back home? How's work? Dad got a job yet? :( I pray for that to happen every time I can. I promise everything will be okay! Just have faith! :)

Geez, it feels like forever since I've seen you guys! I miss you guys a lot and love you so much! Today (Tuesday) is my p-day so this is when I'll be writing you guys! I think I'm to go fix my email later today, so I'll let you know when that happens!
Dad, I actually read and understood most of your last letter! I won't b able to answer back in Italian for a while though! You can keep writing me like that! It helps me to practice. I loved the Homer references it made me laugh! :) Take care of mom and Brian for me.

Both of you - so far after the first week I don't want to come home yet so I think that's a good start! ha ha! But seriously. It's going ok! My companion is an interesting guy! His name is Elder Dunshee and he is from Bountiful Utah. He's funny and makes me laugh. We get along okay and I love him. He has a good heart and that's what matters. Yes, I met Jake Barney. He is a really nice guy, but he is not in my district so I only see him at lunch and gym and a few other things. And the other guy is Elder Bolnick. He is probably my favorite one here. Dear Mom, Dad, and Brian!
First of all I just want to let you guys know that I enjoyed your letters so much! I almost cried :) but I didn't! I love you guys so much!!! I miss you guys a ton! But don't worry everything is fine! The spirit here is so good and so strong that it makes it a good place to be! Oh! I need hangers! For some reason I don't have any! Once again, I need hangers! I haven't been able to set up my e-mail stuff! I don't know my password or anything like that! Hopefully I can get that all fixed on my p-day, which is Tuesday! I will be able to e-mail for half an hour on that day! My companion is ok. He's a nice guy but kinda nerdy and quite. But we seem to get along okay so that is good.
Sorry I got to keep this one short, my Branch Pres. said so. But everything is okay so far. Tell everyone hi for me! Especially my special friend! :)

FAREWELL AND MTC
This past weekend was Robert's farewell. It was amazing to see how many of this friends showed up. Our ward normally has 290 people and that Sunday there were about 500. After our church meeting we had a "small" get together at the clubhouse. It was a nice way to say good bye to some close friends.
Giovanni took Robert up to the Provo Temple a few days ago to take some pictures. Here are a few of our favorites.
This morning we took a few last pictures before we dropped Robert off at the MTC. It was raining, but there were some Elder's who were willing to get a bit wet and take our picture for us.
Also there are a few in front in of the house before we left, then Judi and Brian in the car after we dropped him off..trying to smile!
We are so proud of Robert and his desire to serve the Lord. He will be a great missionary and do great things!
