It's pretty crazy that I'm here in Alessandria and that people know us and stuff!!! ha ha

But first did you guys get my package!? I hope so. I hate Italian post offices!!! I was in there for like an hour and a half! It was a joke!! And they wouldn't let me send everything I wanted to 'cause they said it was too heavy!!! It was lame! I'll make sure to send stuff again don't worry!!

But how is everything back at home? I hope everything is going great!!!

But there is a problem!!! I didn't get an email from Zio Pino!!!! ahhh!!!

is my new address but I don't really know any other addresses or anything!!!! Tell Zio Pino to email me and ask him if we can do it the week after!!!! Because I think that would be super great and my comp already said that it'd be way chill!!!! ha ha let's aim for the 29th!!!!! Because I won't be able to contact anyone to know if he's coming or not next week!!! I didn't have an email from him in my box :( I think it's a great idea and if we can get it set up I'd love for him to come down and chill for a while!!! That'd be my dream!!!!

OK listen up!!! The new memory card for my camera doesn't work!!! I put it in and it says that it doesn't work!!! So I cant take pics right now!! Please send me my other one once you guys get it! You have my address so you can send it straight to the apartment! Just kinda hide it in a letter or something!

OK story time!
So last Wednesday was my last day and Anziano Brooks last day in Sanremo right?! So we were all, "dude we need to do something epic!!!" so.... we decided to go to France!!! ha ha We took a train to France and chilled there for a few hours!! ha ha It was way funny and so cool! We ate some french food and stuff. It was chill! But French people are weird!!! We got kicked out of like no joke, 5 different places and they were all yelling at us in French and we had no idea what was going on!!!! ha ha!! It was so funny!!So ya it was fun! Then Anz Brooks and I had to wake up at 330 in the morning so we could catch our 5 am train! It was harsh!! But it all went well and I actually fit everything I had on my bags!! ha ha! Mom you'd be happy 'cause I can kinda pack now!! ha ha

So my new companion is Anziano Gallacher. He has technically been on his mission for a year and a half but he as a crazy story!!! So after his first transfer he had to go home to get surgery but they didn't release him. So he spent 3 months of his mission at home!!!!!! ha ha Crazy huh!!! Then when he came back to Italy and he was here for 7 months and then he got deported!!! ha ha! :) :) His visa thing didn't all work out!!! So he spent 3 more months of his mission serving in the New York South Mission and now he is back!!! He just got back in Italy two transfers ago!!

He is so chill! We get along great!!! Guess who he reminds me of? Austin Bair!!! He sounds just like him and stuff!!! It's so crazy!! But we really do get along great! The only thing is is that my Italian is better then his!!! So I normally take more of the leads in the lessons and stuff! It's kinda hard but I think it's really gonna help out my teaching and my Italian!! The work here is going OK but it needs a bit of help!!! So this is gonna be a big test to see if I can help it or not!! I sure hope so!! I love my new comp but he is kinda on the laid back side so I have more responsibility now! I'm excited, it's gonna be so much fun here!! ha ha

And ya' the ward here is great! They all know us and the Martinango's!!! ha ha, and yes, we go to Asti once a week at least so if there are any referrals from anyone please let me know!!! Everyone here is so nice and loving they are great! I really do feel right at home!

So I'm glad you got to see the little video!! Sorrella Malara is so cool, she's nice. I'll try to talk more Italian next time! But ya i promise I'm doing fine!! All things are going good!

Kinda sad to leave Sanremo and everyone there but I'm super duper excited to be here in Alessandria!!

I love you guys so so much and am thankful for all you guys do! Please send the memory card so I can start taking pics!!! And ok FYI check the bank account and make sure I have a little money in there just in case!!!

What a wonderful surprise when we checked our email tonight and saw that there was one from Vanesa Ciccio' Malara who lives in Alessandria!

Robert and his companion Anziano Gallagher went and ate with them,

and she took a few pictures and a video to send to us.

It was so good to see his face and hear his voice again!

It is obvious that he is happy and loving his mission.

I could tell from his letters, but to actually see it....WOW!

Population: 85.438

It is in the Piemonte district of Italy.

The average temperature for Sept - Dec is about 55-65 F, with about 3-4 inches of rain per month, and is also known for the fog.

The church has a stake there with several wards.



We also have some dear friends who live there...The Malara/Ciccio' family. They are from the Messina/Calabria area where we lived and where Robert was born.

Also, the Martinengo family is from there as well.

We feel blessed to know so many people in the area who will keep an eye on our son.

But ya all is going well here! But guess what... transfer calls came and yup I'm outta here! I'm getting transferred to Alessandria!! ha ha I'm excited it should be fun! My new comp will be Anziano Gallagher or something like that! ha ha But ya it'll be fun! and it's where the Lord wants me to go so I'm excited!! ha ha I'll let you know how that city is next week! ha ha
But dang it seems like so many cool things are going on at home! Sounds like everything is great and I'm so happy about that!!!! :). But I'm glad all is going well with all you guys!!! I love you all so so much! I know this email is short but I got a lot of packing to do so I gotta go! SIX MONTHS!!!

Dear Mom and Dad!!! and Brian!!!!
(I don't have a ton of time cause it's Thursday and I got some work to do!)

Yup tomorrow is my 6 month mark!!! Crazy huh!?

Well first off real quick I just wanna say sorry about not writing yesterday! I have a really good excuse and I'll explain it all later!

But ya' mom you are exactly right. Time just seems to fly by! But at the same time it does feel like I've been here forever! Like right now I just can't think of doing anything other then missionary work now! It feels like I've been doing it all my life and that I'll be doing it all my life as well! ha ha I know that's not true though. I'm just exaggerating a bit! ha ha But ya I'd say it feels like 6 months is about right ha!

Well first Brian that is sweet about football and your number! Atta boy! #47! and sorry about your arm dude. I'm sure you'll be fine! Your a tough kid! I hope all goes well with that!
And I'm glad you are enjoying school! Year book I bet will be way fun! It sounds like your gonna have a great year. I'm really happy for you dude! ha ha and it's OK dude you haven't let me down! I love you so much! :) just do your best! I know it is really hard sometimes but I can promise you that it will be worth it! I love you bro!

Dad your letter was epic! You're right we really are super duper lucky to have a living prophet with living apostles to help guide us during these crazy days!!! I too am way thankful for all of them! Thanks for your testimony! It really was great! :) I look up to you so much!

Mom it's totally cool that you talk with them. ha ha They told me that you talked with them for a bit and that's totally cool! They are both really way chill! Jessica is preparing for a mission, it's really exciting! We are so happy for her she is great! ha ha

But ya' Sister Barnes emailed me and told me about Justin! ha ha that's way funny! and that is cool about Felipe's sister and Alberto. Good for them! But ya Colby sent us all his talk and it seems like he did a really good job! I really happy for him too!

I'm really glad it sounds like everything back at home is going really well. That makes me happy! We are doing our best with the work right now. Felice is having a bit of trouble but we are still working hard with him.

We have been doing some bomb finding work and just destroying areas here! We found a lot of investigators so hopefully we will see if they start progressing or not. That is one thing I've learned. Don't waste your time here with people who really aren't interested. We are only here for a little while so we gotta use our time wisely!! ha ha

OK... so now the reason why I didn't write yesterday.... so Tuesday night we went over to Savona to spend the night 'cause yesterday we had a big zone activity and went to Cinqueterre!!!! :) How sweet huh!? ha ha It was so ballin and it was so dang fun! I got some epic pics and yes yes I will be sending them home this week!!! ha ha Oh my freakin heck it was so beautiful! Like the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen! And another cool thing was that I got to chill with other missionaries in our zone and I made some way good friends! It was a legit hike though! We were way up in the mountains but the view from the top was amazing! Right now I just feel like I wanna die 'cause I'm sooooo tired but it was so worth it! It's a 9 kilometer hike (so around 5.5 miles). We started around 1030 in the morning and finished around 3. Then we had to catch a 5 1/2 hour train back to Sanremo and got home around 830 and by that time we were just dead and had no time to email!! So I'm doin it now!

Everything is going great! I hope everything keeps going well at home! I'm so very thankful for you guys and for your love and support! I love you guys tons!!!! And miss you tons but there is no doubt in my mind that the church is true and that this is where I need to be right now! Thanks again and have a great week! :)

Hello parents!
I'm glad things back at home are going well!
But ya the word of wisdom and chastity don't exist here! ha ha but its OK we are working with Felice with coffee and all should be fine in the long run! Thank you guys so much for your support and prayers.
Anziano Bartholomew is cool. He is a little different and we don't talk a whole ton but he is still chill and I like him a lot. He is a good missionary and that's what matters! Back at home I chill with Anziano Roberts and Brooks a lot but everyone in the house gets along great so its way fun! Mom I know, your gonna kill me, but I haven't sent it yet... but I will soon I promise!!!!!
But ya I heard about Mason and that's great. I'm happy for him! He will do great! ha ha
And ya I heard about coach Cardoso's wife too... that really is sad and really hard. But that's why God made this perfect plan for us so that one day we will be able to live with our loved ones again. and I'm so thankful for this too!
And ya grandpa emailed me and I've emailed him back like 4 times now!!!! Has he not gotten any of them!? But ya I wrote him back already.
Dad sorry about the job but its OK.... things will all work out don't worry!!! Faith!!! :) ha ha
Ya I got Justin's email and I asked Mike to give me his email for the MTC so I can talk with him! ha ha its gonna be sweet to see him!
I'm glad Brian's teacher is chill! He's a good kid he will be OK and he will have a good year!!! ha ha.
But ya all here is going well! nothing super new! But I gotta bounce real quick! We got a few lessons that we gotta teach on our p-day!! Not fun, but I know but the Lords work always comes first!!!!

Dear Mom and Dad!!!
How are you both doing!? It sounds like home is going well and chill and all so I'm really happy about that!! That's great dad that you get to be home more now to spend time with the fam! Your a baller! ha ha
But ya things here have been goin good. Ya' the 15th of Agosto was pretty nuts! ha ha but normally it's the day we get off and stay inside all day and just clean house but since it was on Sunday we didn't get it! So we got the 16th to have our day off and we just chilled like all day. It only took like 3 hours to clean the whole apartment cause its so small and there are 4 of us! ha ha So the rest of the day we just chilled and went and got gelato and stuff ha ha it was fun! but kinda sucky cause we got bored too!!!
We might as well have been out there doing missionary work! ha ha
But then yesterday was zone conference out in Alessandria and that takes the whole day... and then today is p-day! So we like got off 3 days in a row from missionary work! Its actually kinda sucky! It's just gonna be a bad numbers week! But we will just work way hard this weekend to make up for it!
But ya Felice didn't get baptized this last weekend. We pushed his date back to the 11th of September cause he is still a fan with coffee so we are working with him on that! Besides that he's way solid!
We've been workin a lot with this old lady named Marta who is just like the sweetest old lady ever!!! The one nice old person in SanRemo we found!! ha ha Thank you spirit!!!! ha ha! But ya she has heard like almost all the lessons and wants to get baptized but she is only here for the summer! :( She is heading back to Milano until next summer! So hopefully she will meet with the missionaries there! We told her she has too!
But ya' the work has been going well considering it's the summer in SanRemo! ha ha Once Agosto is over things should start getting better for sure!!! But ya all is going well!
Brian told me about dads icyhot incident! ha ha That's so dang funny!!!! ha ha

Real quick! I heard something really cool at zone conference... So like everything is the Lords you know?... Except one thing... our agency... so when we give Him back the one thing that He has givem us, we can then really be tools for the Lord and He can work through us... All we gotta' do is obey the commandments and do what He says. And when we do that really anything is possible!! I just thought that was pretty cool when I heard it!

5+ Months and HAPPY!

Dear Mom and Dad!!

It sounds like things are getting back to normal around home now that Ryan is gone. I hope you guys can relax more now and not be as stressed!!! ha ha And ya I've been gone for more then 5 months now!! Pretty crazy right!? Seems like longer and yet shorter at the same time! Dad I'm happy about your job and all! that's legit! :) ha ha keep up the hard work! I look up to both of you so so much!!

But ya' I'm really curious about the whole Ryan and family situation cause I don't know the whole story or anything!! ha ha But that's OK you cant wait till I get back to tell me ha I'm just confused about it! Just be the best support you guys can for them! 'cause in the end they are still family....

Oh man I love Ann and all them!!! Please wish them the best of luck for me!!! ha ha Good for Ann though, that makes me happy that she is happy! And I'm glad that you had all them come over to eat and chill!! ha ha I love them all so much!! ha ha It sounds like you guys all had fun!

Kourt said it was fun and she had a good time at dinner and that she loves you guys! ha ha and that's crazy that Beau leaves soon! I'm happy that we are all out at the same time and that we are all doing the Lords work together!!! ha ha

OK so now for some story time.... ha ha
OK.... so ya' last Wednesday was THE best day of my mission. We rented this like 4 person cart thing and all rode together down the pista and took pics and stuff. Then we went to the church and chilled and got ready for the baptism. Then it happened!!!! :)It was so crazy!!!! ha ha and ya' it was in the ocean it was so cool!! So we like started walking into the water and everyone was like talking and stuff then I raised my hand in the air and it went dead quite. Then I like totally forgot everything I was supposed to say!!! Only for like 1/2 a second though thankfully!!! Then I felt this huge peace come over me ('cause I was kinda nervous ha ha) and then I said it, and I got to baptize him!!!! :) :) :) It was so awesome!! The spirit was so so strong! Then after that we all got cleaned up and heared some talks and what not and then it was like 930 at night (which is when we need to be home normally, 10 at the latest) and some of the members invited us out for pizza and dinner, and Anziano Brooks (the legned) is our district leader and he is a baller, he was all... what the heck its a special night... so we got to got out and chill with the members and we were out till like midnight!! ha ha It was way fun!!! ha ha so that's my big story for the week!
But ya' every night is a party 'cause we just chill and talk and have fun and play games and there is just no bad feelings anywhere so its all good and fun!!! ha ha anziano brooks is just so chill I love that guy!!

So as you can tell from this everything here is going great!!! ha ha These have been like the funnest weeks ever!! ha ha all is well.

MATTEO!

Mom and Dad!!!
Well I just wanted to start off saying by I love you both so very much and am so very thankful for all you guys have done for me!!! :) I'm very happy that things are going well with dads work!! Dad you have sacrificed everything for our family and you really do deserve the very best!!! So I'll keep ya' in my prayers and I hope all turns out well for that!!
I miss Brian so so much!!! He sounds like a baller!! ha ha! I love him so much!!! He's gonna be a stud in football!! Just tell him not to be a pansy! ha ha!
I'm very happy that all has gone well at home! I hope all works out with Ryan and all them... jeez... that's a rough situation! But ya mom good attitude learn as much as possible from this situation! Our ward really is amazing... if all members in the world were like our ward we would all get translated!! ha ha ha!!
OK so stuff about here.... so basically this has been my favorite week so far! I love being in 4!!! ha ha ha ha! First my comp is Anz Bartholomew and he is this tiny short kid from North Carolina. He is like quite but he is a good worker and that's what matters. We have seen a lot of success already in this first week and I'm excited to be with him. I think we are gonna get along just fine! The other two missionaries in the apartment are Anz Roberts and Anz Brooks. They are both way chill. Anz Brooks is like a legend around the mission. He's an amazing missionary and is so freakin funny! He has Padre Pio (a catholic priest) pictures everywhere and he is just halarious!!! I love him!!! Every night is like a party at the apartment! So ya everything is just great here right now!!!
OK so now story of the week... There is this boy in our branch named Matteo who is 9 years old and isn't baptized. His parents are divorced. His mom is a member but his dad isn't and won't let him get baptized so he can't 'cause you need both parents permission for a minor to be baptized. But what we realized is that since Ellena (Matteo's mom) has full custody of him we don't need the permission of the father so now he is getting baptized!!! Tonight!!!! ha ha ha! And guess what... He asked me if i'd do it!!!! ha ha ha ha ha!!! :) :) So tonight around 8 pm (noon Utah time) I have the privilege to baptize Matteo in the ocean!!!!! How ballin' is that!?!?!? I'm so stoked! ha ha It's gonna be epic!! ha h aha so ya I'm pretty much freaking out... its gonna be awesome! I'm so excited its gonna be great! :) So ya that's my little story! ha ha
But ya' everything is going great here! I'm not gonna send the pics for a week or two so I can get some pics of the guys here to send to you guys too! Everything here is just going great! ha ha I hope everything at home keeps working out too! You guys are always in my prayers!! I love you guys so so much thanks for all you guys have done!! I gotta bounce though 'cause we got some planning to do!! ha ha love you guys tons!!! :) Can't wait for your guys' emails next week!!

TRANSFERS AND NEW MISSIONARIES

Dear Mom and Dad!!!
Well just letting you guys know I'm doing just fine don't worry!!! The weather has been OK the last couple days but now it's starting to get hot again. We got lucky for a few days and it wasn't humid and it was just lovely!!

I'm still losing weight! It is weird! I'm now at 175 ha ha! That's over 20lbs that I've lost (since leaving the MTC) ! ha ha! The bike riding is definitely a bit hard sometimes when we have to go up hills and what not but it's totally worth it. We save so much time in the end and it helps the work out and that's what matters!

Felice and Romulo are just fine! They are ballers for sure! We didn't get to see Felice last week cause his wife got sick and he had to take her to the hospital. But now she is doing great and we are going to see him later this week. Romulo is a stud. He came to church on Sunday which was big cause he skipped his cycling stuff to come with us instead. He said yes to getting baptized but he didn't want to set up a date for it cause he said he still has some doubts and wants to learn more. But we are very optimistic with him! We just went over the word of wisdom and it was funny cause he was all "frick i love wine!" ha ha it was just the way he said it that made us all laugh! But he said that he would live it and stop with all the coffee and stuff so that is good. He is solid we see him at least 3 times a week.

This last week has been way chill. Anz Mosley and I got along great and everyday was just a blast.

OK so for the cool little spiritual story of the week...
So we were doing casa and we found this guy named Sergio who let us in and said we could share our message and what not with him. So we did the whole first lesson and just talked about the restoration and then the Book of Mormon and how all ya gotta do is read a bit and pray to know if it's true. So of course like the rest of Italy he is Catholic so we taught him how to pray using his own words and stuff. The only problem was that he just had eye surgery awhile ago so he literally can't read. So we asked him to give the closing prayer and ask for a little help with his eyes. So he did and he said a great pray and then we gave him the Book of Mormon and were like "well if you can somehow it'd be really great if you read a little bit" and he took the book and started flipping pages and was all "I just had surgery you guys can't expect me to... hmm.. what the heck? that's strange... I can read it. That's so weird!" And he kept looking through it and noticed he could read a little bit of it! So we asked if he would read and he said he would try his best! But once again it was just really cool to see the Lord answer prayer! He really will help us out if we just have a little faith and just ask!!! So ya that was cool!! We are now meeting with him and have a lesson with him tonight! And also another one with romulo tonight!! So ya things are going well!

OK so transfers.... yep you guys are right... I'm staying here in San Remo! But Anz Mosley is not. He is getting transferred to Cuneo. And my new comp is going to be Anz Bartholomew. (or something like that I don't know how to spell his name ha ha) And Anz Mosley doesn't know him so I really don't know what to expect!!! But another really cool thing is that they are opening up another coppia here in San Remo! Anz Brookes (who is like a legend here in the mission and is supposed to be super legit) and Anz Roberts (who was Anziano Mosley's mtc comp) are coming here to do that! So that is exciting! There are gonna be 4 missionaries stuck in our tiny apartment!! It's gonna be nuts! ha ha I'm really sad to leave Anz Mosley but at the same time looking forward for this chance to grow and become better. 20 WEEKS AND ANSWERS TO PRAYERS

Dear Mom and Dad!!!

I'm very glad to hear that all is going well back at home!! Dad it is fine that you wrote me in Italian I was able to understand it just fine! But I'm still gonna write back in English! ha ha

And it's only been 20 weeks?! Dang seems like more! But at the same time your right it feels like I just left! Downing has been out for a year now and it's so crazy cause I totally remember us all going to his farewell just like it was yesterday!! Ah man good times!

Um OK some quick updates.... Adriana is well.... like fallin' off of the face of the earth. She just works to much and she says she is too busy to meet with us. Pretty sucky but oh well... Felice is doing really well. He came with his family to church again and is doing good. We moved his baptismal date back to the 14th of August cause we can only see him once a week cause he lives out in Imperia and we need time to teach him everything. But I'm pretty much like 99% sure he'll get baptized on that date! We are happy for him!

We have another investigator named Romulo from Peru who is progressing really well and asked about baptism yesterday so we are gonna ask him to get baptized during our next appointment! Hopefully that works out!!! We love Laminates!!! ;) ha ha

Yes you are right the summer is kinda hard sometimes. It is just so freakin humid here! ha ha It's insane!!! But don't worry we carry water bottles and stay hydrated and all is well. I've kinda had some ingrown toenail issues for a bit more then a week now but it seems to be getting a bit better. It's OK though its just a little thing no need to worry!!! :)

That is so cool that Ryan and Andy are getting ready to depart!! Good for them! I'm sure that they both did a ballin job! That's kinda scary about the visa thing! But I'm sure it'll all work out!! ha And mom I can still see that your trying to be the cool social mom talkin' to everyone and keepin' in touch!! ;) ha ha ha! I'm glad!!!! That's so awesome that people will still come over!! Tell all of them hi for me!!!

So... hmmm.. OK I got one kinda cool story! So these last two weeks have been really rough and we haven't gotten in doing casa (door to door) once during this time! But on Monday we did a scambio (switches/splits) in SanRemo where Anz Curtis (who was in the MTC with me so we are both still new at this whole missionary thing) and we were riding our bikes in a place where I've done like 100 times!! But I just had a feeling to do this random palazzo (apartment building) so we did. We got in and started from the top and just started going down. And one by one we just kept getting rejected!! ha ha So finally Anz Curtis was like this just ain't working and suggested that we do a prayer. So we did and asked for some help cause we needed it! So we kept going and on the very last one we got in and taught them a bit about the restoration and that we have a living prophet today and then they became new investigators!!! So it was pretty cool to just see how if you go by the spirit and put your trust in the Lord He will help you out!! So ya that's my little fun story for the week!! ha ha

I'm glad that all is going OK with Ryan and what not. Just have patience with him and love him. I think that is one big thing that he needs!!! Deep down I know he is a good kid. I'm glad all is going well at home!! Keep me updated and posted! For now I'm doin good and don't need anything special! Thanks though and I'll let ya know if I do! Dear Mom and Dad!!!
Thank you for that little message it really did make me laugh! ha ha! And it also makes me happy to hear that you guys are reading the scriptures! Good for you guys!!!
But dang.... so so so sorry to hear about Cassandra... ugh that is so hard that she is pregnant. I know that there isn't much that you guys can do but just keep them all in your prayers. And I know it is different with Ryan there but I know that he really appreciates it and I know you guys are doing the right thing and this could really make a big difference in his life. Just be there and be good examples for him.
So ya, Adriana isn't gonna be getting baptized this week cause we haven't seen her in like two weeks!!! She is working as a bidonte and never has time and hasn't came to church!!! Ugh it is so frustrating!!! Hopefully we can find some time to meet with her and help her still get baptized.
Although she didn't work out exactly how we wanted... on Saturday we invited Felice to get baptized and he said yes!! So we lost one person to get baptized but at the same time we picked someone else up! We are really excited for him! The only hard thing is is that he lives in Imperia and is about a 45 minute drive from SanRemo so it's difficult for him to come to church. His wife is already a member and they blessed their baby at church 2 weeks ago and it was really good! It is also kinda' hard cause we can only go out there once a week and we still got a bit of stuff to teach him! His date is set for July 31st! It's gonna be kinda' hard but at the same time we know we can do it!! And he said if he doesn't get baptized that day he will get baptized after that so either way he is good!!!
On Monday we went to Genova and had zone council and got to meet the new president and his wife. President Wolfgramm is great and so is his wife! ha They are gonna do some really good things for our mission! It was also really good cause they have some dang good focaccia in Genova! ha ha
Things here are going really well. We also just recently picked up another investigator named Romulo who is really ballin and just loves Joesph Smith so its ballin! ha ha! He is planning on coming to church this week so we are excited for him.
It's about 1145 here and instead of using our pday for something fun we are gonna go teach people instead. There are just a few people who we feel really need some help so we wanna go help them. So we have two lessons planned for our pday afternoon! ha ha
But ya everything is going really well out here!!! And to answer your question mom ya we have the feeling that one of us is gonna be transferred. Normally a trainer is only with his trainee for 2 transfers but anything is possible so we will see! I'll keep you updated!!!

First off thanks for the little sports update dad! you know I love that! ha ha ;) So I'm glad that you guys had a good time in Vegas!! That is so cool! and that's so sweet that you all got to see Talon in a show! How cool!!
And wow... I'm really sorry about the whole Ryan and David situation and all..... jeez that is rough. I will definitely pray for all them. You have no idea how great I think it is that you are letting him stay with you guys. All he needs is some love and the gospel in his life. This is just more proof of how great you guys are!!! ha ha Ya I was just like super shocked when Brian said something when you guys didn't! ha ha Just remember have patience and do your guys best to help him... You all will be blessed for this!! :)
I have already had zone conference this transfer. I had it the first day of the transfer! ha ha I have zone council next Monday but that is in Genova so I'm not going to be heading to Torino for a while now.... Shoot!!! I'm just praying that sometime during my mission I'll be transferred there! That would be my dream!! ha ha But ya Mirko is a stud! I love that kid he is a kid here in the branch. Last Friday we went and played some soccer with him and his friends and guess what?.... I SCORED A GOAL!!!! hahaha Dad you should be proud! :) hahaha! It was so much fun! But um I'm not really sure who the other people are.... ha ha
But that is so crazy that all of us are leaving now (0n missions) and are gonna be all gone soon! Good for all them! I'm so happy for all of us!! It's so cool to get emails from everyone all time! All my boys are just legit! Tell Ryan congrats on his call too! I already am in contact with everyone else! ha ha
About Adriana... she picked up work as a bidante (care giver) and is now working 24/7 and we can like never see her!!! So I don't know if we are going to be able to make it on her date.... We are gonna call her later today and see what we can do! The work is going a bit rough. But at the same time we are finding some people who are interested and it's all really sweet! So ya everything here is going great! The only down part is that it is so darn hot here!! It is so humid that we just sweat all day and riding the bikes up the hills here doesn't help! haha But its still all good! All is going really good! This guy named Felice is progressing really well! Things are going good!
So when do you want me to send the memory card? I can send it whenever you want. Oh I also heard that Kourtney came and did some weird presentation thing for some knives or something? ha ha Weird but funny at the same time! And sadly to say my footprint isn't there! I think they fixed it!

Dear Mom and Dad!!!

Thank you guys so much for your emails!! They were very nice this week! Don't get me wrong they are awesome all of the time! But first of all you both asked about Zio Pino. I haven't gotten any messages from him. Check with him and make sure he has the right address and tell him to send me an email. I will totally email him back once I get it! It probably wont be gramatically correct or anything but I'll try!! ha ha
I'm glad to here things are going well at home! Dad I'm sorry about work (the commute).... I know its rough sometimes, but I know you can do it!! :) plus you guys are going to Vegas this weekend so that will be a nice little break for everyone! I'm kinda jealous! But ya out here this last week has been pretty hot. And the thing is, it is humid and you are just dripping in sweat like all the time!!! ha ha That is the only rough part. So guess what... when I left the MTC I was 198 lbs and right now when I weighed myself this morning I was 179!!!! Crazy!!!! But actually I'm around 183ish but I'm fasting so I lost a few more, but I get to eat and drink at lunch so that will be nice!!! But I know why I'm doing it and praying really hard that it all works out for one of our investigators. This last week was a rough week according to the work... like it was a fast week but its wasn't that good for us. Some of our investigators are just deciding to be a little difficult at the time is all.... But its OK we are doing our best to help them out and work with them.
Things are going good with Anziano Mosley and myself. We get along great and all is well. My Italian is... well it' s OK ha ha the grammar still isn't perfect but its OK. But ya Martina Sacco told me you guys talked to her!!! That is so awesome! It is totally OK! If anyone from Italy wants to become my friend you guys can totally accept them. But ya we eat over at their house at least once a week. Normally on Thursday nights. The Sacco family is great but just is.... well kinda a long story, but basically Sorrella(Sister) Sacco get left buy her husband and they have 8 kids. Martina is 14 and is the youngest and is the only one that is still active. Slowly but surely Malena is starting to come back to church. But ya we go over once a week and eat with them and do a little lesson with them. They are all so nice and ballin.
um.... No I haven't sent the memory card back yet.... oops!!!! Sorry!!! I was planning on doing it at the end of this transfer!! ha ha I don't have like a billion pics! I need to take more!! ha ha
But thank you guys so much for all you do and for your great examples everyday! You guys are awesome and I love you guys so so much! Tell everyone in the ward hi!!!! And tell them sorry I don't email them! Today I forgot my little book with everything in it so I only have the emails that I've already used! ha

World Cup Week

Dear Mom and Dad!
I'm doing really good! It was a good solid week and I didn't get pooped on and I didn't get bitten so I consider it a very solid week!! ha ha! But geez I'd love to ride the scooter right about now! Sanremo is totally like huge hills everywhere and it's rough riding bikes up and down everyday! ha ha! The bike was only 20 Euro or so but ya I took some money out to buy some clippers for my hair and stuff. But don't worry you don't need to check the money thing every day maybe just every other week or something. But thank you for making sure that I still have something in there in case of emergency!
But ya the bird and dog stories were pretty funny! ha ha And the little bite is just fine I probably made it sound worse then it was! ya It cut me and I was bleeding but not very bad and it didn't even rip my pants so I'm all good no worries! But ya frick seagulls!!! ha ha they have good aim!! ha ha!
The investigators are going OK. Adriana came to church again and is doing pretty good. One of our 29 year old dudes moved to London and we haven't seen the other in some time but we are gonna get in touch with him really soon and see if we can keep meeting with him! But don't worry about the world cup! So far every time Italy has played we have found a new investigator from it! ha ha cause eventually you find someone that's not watching the game and most the time they aren't doing anything so they let you in! ha ha but 90 percent of people won't even consider letting you in! ha ha
Dad are you upset that Italy hasn't won any games yet? What is going on with that!?!?!
Mom I'm so proud of you that you wanna read the whole book of Mormon in a summer! Good luck that is awesome! :)
But ya Anziano Cressman wasn't at zone conference so I didn't get the chance to go see Zio Pino :( hopefully one day I'll be able to run into someone! That would be so good!! But it was really good. This transfer we are focusing on recognizing the spirit and stuff. It was President Dunaway's last zone conference so it was kinda sad! But he gave some great training and it was really good! I'm gonna miss him he is a baller but I'm sure President Wolfgram is gonna be just as good!
Yes I got my packages and a few letters from some people!!! :) Thank you guys so much y'all are way too sweet! ha ha I loved all of it! The money situation is good. They give us a card that has money on it and each month they put money on our card and if we need cash we just go to an ATM machine and take some out, it's pretty easy! And if I need to use personal money I just use my credit or debit card it's easy don't worry!
That is so cool about the Kings! Brother King is gonna be amazing!!! Jordan is so lucky!!! ha ha I'll email them sometime ha ha Oh my heck Ashly would go and freakin kill herself!!! ugh what a spaz!!! I'll see if I have time to shoot her an email but tell her good luck from me!! I haven't emailed Pres Warner or bishop yet.... oops!!! ANIMAL ATTACK

Dear Mom and Dad!!!
I'm doing pretty dang good! A lot of weird stuff happened this week but I'll get to that later!!! But first of all ya the world cup makes it really hard here cause now pretty much every night they have an excuse for not letting us in because they are watching the world cup!! ha ha Even one of the guys we had an appointment with totally gave us a bidone! (like they just totally didn't show up!) ha ha but then we called him and he said sorry cause he was watching the game and we set up another one with him so I guess its OK! ha ha But ya it kinda makes work rougher during the nights! ha But ya Brian told me all the fun cool stuff he is doing and I'm jealous! I'm missing him growing up! He's gonna be such a baller! ha ha But no way!!!?? Ryan got his mission call!? That's nuts!!! Tell him congrats for me! And ya of course I miss all my friends but I get letters from them every week so its cool! I'm so proud of all of us!!! And I emailed Anthony and he didn't email me back!! What a bum! ha ha Guess what my nickname is that the members gave me.... Anziano Farfallone hahahahaha!!!! ballin huh!!! It's cause I always dress and look really good and they can tell that I use to flirt! hahahah! I just busted up when I heard that and knew you guys would love that!(don't worry, I don't anymore!!!) ha ha but yes transfers were this week and..... I'm..... staying in San Remo with Anziano mosley. But we are getting a new zone leader and its the Anziano that trained Anziano Mosley so he is really excited for that so it will be sweet!
But about some of our investigators.... Giovanni is like off the map at the moment.... we need to get in touch with him and see if he is still interested. The 29 year old guys didn't come to church. But we are still working really hard with them! They are just really worldly (like drinking and smoking and sleeping around) and one of them might be moving so we are just gonna have to see how it all works out! Yes Adriana is doing pretty good. She is dated to get baptized on July 17th so if all goes well it will work out! There is this guy named Gian Luca who is a freakin baller and is progressing so dang fast and things are looking really really good for him too! Also this man named Felice who is the husband of one of our members who is now meeting with us! So ya things are going pretty good. But I haven't been one with nature this week.... let me explain.... first we got bikes last Thursday so now we are doing that and its good exercise! Even more just what I needed! ha ha But we went up into this place and we were walking around and a freakin seagull pooped on me!!!! Ya what the HECK!!!! ha ha ha ha ha Thankfully it just got on my backpack and not on my tie or anything. When it did I kinda slipped and a bad word came out and Anz Mosley just laughed at me!! Ugh it was an interesting experience! ha ha Then the next day we were walking back to our apartment and a freakin dog bit me!!! And gave me like a hole in the back of my thigh! Ya it was not my week for animals! ha ha ha But oh don't worry I repented for my little bad word ha ha But ya there are some funny stories for you guys to laugh at! And oh dad HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!..... on Sunday.... ha ha ha I love you so much and you are such a great example for me!!! Yes mom don't worry I love you too and your just as ballin! ha ha ha But I'm sorry I don't think I can send any Italian soccer shirts from here.... San Remo is like a tourist place and everything is just so expensive!!! If you guys can be patient a bit wait till I get to my next city and then I can buy one and send you all one!!! ha ha But it's just so expensive here its a joke!
But ya yoga is fun and we do it in the church ha ha and there are also weights in there so later today we are going to go lift! ha ha ya I'm totally getting in good shape! It's awesome! Don't worry you all know that I'm fine! Yes miss you guys a ton but I'm so thankful and happy to be here!!! Oh I bought my first legit Italian tie for 6 euro and its ballin! just sayin!!! ha ha
and about Zio Pino I totally wanna see him but I don't know if it is possible..... he lives on the other side of town from where the church is.... but I totally want to! If I can I totally will! I'll ask Pres Dunaway for sure and see if it's possible. I'm praying that sometime on my mission I can just serve in Torino and that would just make things so much easier! ha ha But ya I'd love so see him and to talk! I'll see what I can do....

Dear Mom and Dad!!!!

I just wanna start off by saying I love you guys so freakin much!!!! Just lettin ya know! You both talked about Brian and stuff and that makes me so jealous! I wish I could be there to see him grow up! That kid is such a baller he is gonna be 100 times better then me!!! ha ha Yes mom I got the pics this time and last time! Thank you so so much! I loved them. Brian does look a lot bigger already! Dad you did just great with me don't worry. It's not your fault I was such a punk!! You both were such great examples for me and I'm so thankful for all you guys have done for me! The mission won't really change me (my personality) I don't think... but I think it is opening my eyes so now I can see what really is important. I'm sure I'll still be kinda goofy and punk like when I get back but I'll definitely have my priorities set straight for once ha ha!
Anyways ya things here have been OK! Finding work was rough this last week. No new investigators.... but it's OK we are staying positive and are hoping to have a great week this week! The two 29 year old guys are doing alright. we didn't meet with them last week because they were working in France but we met with them last night and it went well. They said they should be able to make it to sacrament meeting this Sunday so that is good. Hopefully they keep reading and praying and progressing... Adriana is doing good too. We had to move back her baptismal date because of some stuff but she is doing good and things are looking better for her. Giovanni is like way busy with school and will be till the end of the week so we really haven't talked with him much. We had one lesson with him but it didn't go as well as planned... hopefully after this week we will be able to work something out and meet with him sometime. But ya things are going alright! I'm having a good time but the work went a bit rough last week.
Like we had great lessons with the investigators that we have but we didn't get any new ones!
I have yoga later today and I'm excited for that! ha ha! We do yoga 2 to 3 times a week! It helps me lose weight! ha ha! I've lost all the weight I gained in the MTC so that is good! So don't worry I'm eating good and staying in shape! ha ha! Thanks for letting me know about sports that is really nice to know!!! Sports, music and movies are things that are hard to go without! ha ha!
But our next zone conference is around the 22nd or something like that. So in a few weeks or so. But ya everything is going great and I'm having a blast! How have you guys been!? Thanks for your email! It sounds like you guys had a great trip and I'm so so glad. It sounds like you had fun grandpa! That's awesome! So the work here is going great. The weather here is just beautiful too. I love it. Yes we do get rejected a lot but its so awesome when someone lets you into their house and you get to share our message of the restored gospel with them. My companion is really cool too. He is Elder Mosley and he is from California. We get along great now! The food here is really really yummy too! You know I love that! I miss you guys so much and I'm so thankful for the great example you both have been for me! I love you both so much! I hope all is going well! Keep in touch!

It sounds like everything back at home is going great! I'm very happy to hear that! That is so funny that brain actually got the Wii. Mom I can totally see you playing it and it just brings the biggest smile to my face! hahaha ;) Tell Brian I will write him next week! I'm running out of time! I wrote grandpa today so make sure he gets it! That's so cool to hear about Beau and Colby! I'm proud of both of them! Good for them! I can totally see Beau going there! He is gonna have a blast! That's so nice of you to take that to Kourtney! She is a sweet heart and thanks for keeping in touch with her and all!It means a lot! I'm so jealous that you guys are able to still watch movies! So for a funny story... so we were walking around the city and on our way home for lunch one day and while we were walking I straight up stepped in wet cement!!!! haha it sucked! I had to walk back to the apartment and I looked like a freakin' fool! haha But it was funny and we just laughed about it after! Don't worry my stuff is fine I got to wash it all off. Hopefully my footprint will still be there and it will get to be part of San Remo Forever!! hahaha :) And about the everything in Italian thing we just can't do that. President Dunaway wants us to study in English so that's what we do! Maybe when he leaves I will though! haha But ya this week has been a solid week. Anziano Mosley and I get along great so it's fun. Guess what! One day as we were doing casa I quoted the wholeLion King movie word for word! Ya impressive I know! haha
But ya thanks for everything! You both are the best examples for me and I love you guys so freakin much! I miss you guys tons but I am having a good time out here! The members are great and all too! Today we went out to Bussana Vecchia and got some ballin picks! I'm getting some good ones! haha Thanks for the little sports update you know I love that!
